Well, we come to the end of our New Years series called a Celebration of Hope!  If you’ve ever been frustrated at work?  Have there been people who don’t get you? Have you been bullied for your faith?  Rejected by friends because you don’t value or believe the same things?  It’s tough to suffer these things.  Is God on your side? We often start our year here at Lawson with a series entitled A Celebration of Hope.  Our desire is to do 2 things: 1) Increase your hope as you enter the New Year to anticipate God doing NEW things in your life, 2) Increase your awareness of the needs of our city and what God can do through His church to bring NEW beginnings to the people in her boundaries!  God has good news for our city!

Our series will look at our city and how we can help Saskatoon truly shine like the motto of our city suggests!

A Prayer for Everything Important

SERMON AUDIO: a-prayer-for-everything-important-11-20-2016
SERMON NOTES: pray-everything-sermon-11-20-2016-notes

O’ God, with all our hearts we long for you. Come transform us to be Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, mission-focused people, multiplying disciples everywhere.

This is sorta part 2 from last weeks Sunday. But it ialso our final message in our series.  While we pray our shared church prayer we investigate today what the mandate of the church is, one that is for every person who claims the name of Jesus for their own Saviour and Lord! Come find our the only way our faith makes sense.

O’ God, with all our hearts we long for you. Come transform us to be Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, mission-focused people…

Squirrel!  Sometime life is distracting and sometimes it can take our heart away from what is ultimately true and fulfilling.  While we pray our shared church prayer we investigate today a gap that we feel, between what we say we believe about our present reality and the reality of the Kingdom of heaven happening in our lives.  Come find our the only way our faith makes sense.
